How Our Quick Lime Is Manufactured

Quick lime (Calcium Oxide, CaO) is produced by calcining high-grade limestone at temperatures between roughly 900°C and 1100°C. During this reaction, limestone (CaCO₃) breaks down into calcium oxide and carbon dioxide gas. The process sounds simple on paper, but the finished product's reactivity, whiteness and free-lime content depend heavily on raw material purity, kiln design, residence time and cooling method — this is exactly where experienced production teams make the difference.
